Our second weekend in Crete was filled with many laughs as we traveled a few hours each day to the West and East towns of the island.

Saturday we traveled to Knossos, which is considered Europe's oldest city as it holds a history more than 4000 years old. Our tour guide, Katerina, shared with us some mythology that holds strongly to the nationalism and identity of the people of Crete today.

Sunday was a day dedicated to the most beautiful beach we have been to in Crete yet. Elafonisi has two sides of water to swim in, which are separated by a lagoon of beautiful white sand. The beach day lasted 4 hours and Katrina once again didn't fail to amuse us with her balancing trick on the beach chair.
